2007 ended on a high for mr Styles (with his Diamonds & Pearls release) and 2008 kicks off on the same high note! “Sources” is Matthew’s debut for Horizontal and hopefully the first of many… It’s a solid three-tracker of minimal meets deep house the emphasis being placed on the former. Dark atmospheres penetrated by brief glimpses of synth chords and tighter than tight percussion. His move to Berlin seems to have done miracles for him!
